To install the third-party builds, like Diggz Xenon Kodi build, first enable the Unknown Sources. This can be done by following the steps below:
Step 1: Access Settings menu from the Kodi main-screen. You need to click the cog/gear icon on the top-left
Step 2: Open System settings
Or, just click System on Kodi 18
Step 3: Select Add-ons on the left of the Kodi screen that opens next
Step 4: Switch ON the Unknown Sources setting on the right. There is a switch that must be dragged to the ON position
Step 5: Ignore this warning message when it appears next. The Diggz builds have been around for a long time. They are tested, tried and safe.
Click Yes and continue
When the Unknown Sources is turned on, you can install the Diggz Xenon Build on Kodi.
Let’s get started without much ado. Here are the steps:
Step 6: Launch Kodi and open the Settings menu from the home-screen
Step 7: Go to File manager and open it
Step 8: Open the Add-source option (it’s on both sides as you see in the following image and may click either). If you don’t see this option, scroll down to the bottom of the list
Step 9: When you see this window, click
Step 10: Go ahead and type in the following URL in the designated space on the top: http://diggzrepo.ddns.net/
Remember that it is important to type the URL correctly to ensure the process works.
Click OK once you have typed in the correct URL
Step 11: Back on this screen, type in the name diggz or any other name you wish to identify the above source with. You will need to click this name once a little later.
Click OK after typing the name
Step 12: From the Kodi home-screen, click Add-ons on the left and then on the following screen open the Package Installer icon on the top-left
Step 13: On the following window, click Install from zip file
Step 14: Next, find and click diggz (or if you chose another name, click it instead)
Step 15: Now click Install_Repo
Step 16: Click the zip file repository.diggz-x.x.zip (x.x is the version number)
Step 17: Wait for the notification confirming Diggz Repository Add-on installed
Step 18: Now click Install from repository
Step 19: Open Diggz Repository
Step 20: Click Program add-ons
Step 21: Click The Chef Wizard
If you are using Kodi 18, click The Chef Leia Wizard instead. The Wizard for Kodi 18 Leia is graphically more interactive.
Step 22: Click Install on the next screen
Step 23: Wait for the installation of The Chef Wizard. It may take 2-3 minutes, so be patient.
When the add-on installed confirmation is displayed, it means the wizard has been installed
Step 24: Now you want to go back to the Kodi home-screen one more time. When you are there, click Add-ons and then on the next screen click Program Add-ons
Now, click The Chef Wizard to open it
Step 25: On Kodi Krypton: Click (The Chef) Builds next
On Kodi 18: Click the Builds tab on the top-left (next image)
Step 26: Now you see the list of various builds this wizard hosts. Diggz Xenon is no longer available on Kodi 17.6. You may install Xenon Redbolt instead
Kodi 18 users, click Xenon Build on the left
Step 27: Click Fresh Install (look for the Fresh Install button somewhere around the middle of the screen on Kodi 18 Leia as you see in the above image)
I always recommend resetting Kodi before installing any build. This ensures there are no performance issues in the future. Fresh Install option will reset Kodi to the default configuration. But, please note that you will also lose any existing addons, settings, and skins.
Standard Install may probably retain something but it will cause more problems than any good.
Since you are about to reset Kodi, the wizard will ask you for a final confirmation. Click Continue to allow the wizard to reset Kodi to default
Now, the only thing left to do is wait for the Diggz Xenon Kodi build to install. It is going to take several minutes. You might want to sit back for a while.
When the installation is complete, click Force Close when the prompt is displayed. You have successfully installed the Diggz Xenon Build on Kodi.
